Mantras are the main Ayurvedic therapy for the mind.

Thought patterns build neural pathways that become like well-paved wide roads over time. They are easy to go travel and we tend to default to that thought pattern.

Mantras help us form a new thought pattern.

Seed mantras are one syllable and we must repeat them 100,000 times to take affect.

1,000 repetitions of a seed mantra (one syllable) can be completed in 10 minutes.

So 10 minutes a day for 100 days will create a new neural pathway that can replace negative thought patterns of many years.
